    Indiana K-12 Employee Confirmation- Fall 2027

    Hanover College will award a $2,500 scholarship to first-year students whose parent or legal guardian is employed by any K-12 school in Indiana – public or private. Hanover College truly appreciates the vital role K-12 employees play in the lives of young people, and this scholarship reflects that commitment.

    To be awarded the scholarship, students must be admitted to Hanover, complete the FAFSA, and provide proof of their parent’s or legal guardian’s full-time or permanent part-time employment at a K-12 school.

    This scholarship is available to first-year students beginning in Fall 2025.
    Parent/Guardian Information:
    (Complete using the information of the parent/guardian who is employed by a K-12 school. If both parent/guardians are employed by the school, only one is required to complete this form.)
    Employee Confirmation Letter
    Please provide a letter on school letterhead from your supervisor indicating the following information:
    1. Parent/ Guardian title
    2. Parent/ Guardian school and school district
    3. Confirmation that the Parent/ Guardian is a full time or permanent part-time employee of the school

    By signing below, you certify that the above information is true and that you are a full-time or permanent part-time employee of an Indiana K-12 school and to the best of your ability, know that you will continue to be employed during the 2027-28 academic year. In the case that the Parent/ Guardian is not employed at an Indiana K-12 school during the 2027-28 academic year, you are responsible for reporting that to the Office of Student Financial Services by emailing financialservices@hanover.edu.
